That’s why we encourage every person who's serious about following Jesus to get involved in a Life Group.
Rockpoint Life Groups explore three core values. We practice mutually invested authentic community that focuses on growing in our love of God and being on mission together to GO love our neighbor in our life, community, and world.
Most Life Groups are based on life stage with 12-16 people meeting regularly in homes to connect with one another and grow together.

CONNECT is a four-week small group experience designed to connect you with God, your church community, and your purpose. In a group of 8–10 people, you’ll discover how community with other believers helps you grow in your love for God and go out to love your neighbors.

Each group looks a little different. Some meet on-site at Rockpoint, while others gather off-site. Childcare arrangements also vary by group. Your group leader can share the details and answer any questions.

FAQ’s for CONNECT/Life Groups
Do I need to complete CONNECT before I join a Life Group?
We highly encourage people to start with CONNECT. CONNECT introduces group members to experiences that are foundational to our overall discipleship pathway, making CONNECT a valuable place to learn about discipleship at Rockpoint. Plus, the CONNECT experience is beneficial to Christians in all stages of their faith journey. That said, if you have been invited to join an existing Life group by a friend, you do not need to complete CONNECT before joining that Life group. If you have already completed CONNECT and want to join a new Life group, you can explore open Life groups here.
How are CONNECT/ Life Groups determined?
New CONNECT Groups are primarily determined by availability - you register for a CONNECT group based on your desired time of the week. Additionally, we strive to group people based on common life stages or shared interests. For existing Life groups, use the Group Finder page to search for an open group based on meeting day, gender, age or stage of life, and whether childcare is available.
What do Life Groups do together?
Life Groups meet weekly/biweekly in homes, or in the community. Typically, a Life group meets for 1.5-2 hours to pray, study the Bible, and share updates about their lives with one another to build a safe and authentic community. Life Groups also participate in a serving experience together as a part of our mission to Go and love your neighbor.
Is childcare available?
We leave it to each family/Life Group to arrange their childcare. Sometimes it works best for families to share a sitter or to swap childcare with another family whose group meets on a different evening.
What if I can’t find a Life Group that works for me?
If you are unable to find a current Life Group that works for you, you still have several great options. New groups launch quarterly, so you can wait and continue checking for a group that may be a better fit. In the meantime, consider joining a Sunday morning ABC class, participating in 1-on-1 discipleship, or jumping into our Men’s and Women’s monthly connection events.
